Preparation Sr. Engineer

Job Summary:

The Preparation Sr. Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability of spare parts, raw materials, and required supplies at the right time while maintaining safe stock levels in line with planned maintenance activities, overhauls, and emergency requirements. The role also supports cost monitoring and budget control to ensure alignment with the approved maintenance and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare job orders for inspection and maintenance activities, including identifying required spare parts and materials.

• Support the preparation and follow-up of weekly stoppage plans to minimize equipment downtime.

• Participate in preparing and coordinating yearly overhaul plans for plant equipment and systems.

• Monitor preparation-related costs and support budget control activities to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to follow up on purchase requests and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials.

• Review and technically evaluate supplier offers to ensure compliance with required specifications.

• Follow up on spare parts quality inspection and ensure compliance with technical requirements.

• Ensure the availability of critical spare parts required for maintenance and overhaul activities.

• Follow up on maintenance progress and ensure adherence to scheduled plans and timelines.

• Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably within the cement industry.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Good knowledge of maintenance planning and spare parts management.

• Knowledge of safety policies and regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Very good command of English.
