Job Summary:

supervising and monitoring the efficient operation of production in line with the approved schedule by supporting team members, identifying operational challenges, and driving continuous improvements to achieve the plant’s objectives in terms of production output, quality, and cost efficiency, while aligning with the company’s policies and overall operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the daily production schedule by organizing and directing technical staff to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Follow up on production processes from the Central Control Room, ensuring the safe operation of equipment and consistent product quality across all production stages.

• Prepare accurate shift production reports covering performance, efficiency, and quality, and submit them to the Production Manager for approval.

• Supervise cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities during operations and shutdowns, ensuring completion within the planned schedule and targets.

• Recommend and implement improvements in machinery, spare parts, and production methods to minimize breakdowns and downtime.

• Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards to achieve the company’s zero lost-time injury target.

• Collaborate with other departments to exchange ideas, enhance cooperation, and strengthen plant-wide communication.

• Lead or contribute to ad-hoc projects beyond daily duties to address business needs.

• Manage and motivate the shift team by assigning tasks according to their skills and maintaining high morale.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) or Science.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Shift Leader is a must.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Knowledge of safety policies and regulations.

• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.

• Very good command of English.
