ASEC Ramadan Safety Contest 2026: Building a Strong Safety Culture Through Learning from Incidents
2026-04-02

As part of ASEC’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement, the company proudly launched the Ramadan Safety Contest 2026 under the theme:

“Wait… Could It Be You?”

This initiative was introduced with the direct support and guidance of the top management, reinforcing ASEC’s dedication to embedding a proactive safety culture across all operations.

The contest witnessed strong engagement from ASEC projects across Egypt and international locations, in addition to the head office. This wide participation reflects the organization’s collective commitment to promoting safe behaviors, enhancing hazard awareness, and sharing real-life experiences.

Throughout the contest, participants received weekly incident-based scenarios & lessons learned from 2025 from all reported incidents, carefully designed to simulate real workplace situations. Each scenario was accompanied by analytical questions aimed at helping employees:

  • Identify root causes of incidents
  • Understand risk factors and unsafe behaviors
  • Apply preventive measures to avoid recurrence

To further strengthen learning outcomes, weekly on-site safety awareness sessions were conducted across all locations. These sessions encouraged open discussions, knowledge sharing, and practical insights, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

The Ramadan Safety Contest 2026 highlights ASEC’s strategic focus on:

  • Promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace
  • Encouraging employee engagement in safety practices
  • Driving continuous improvement through incident analysis
  • Making safety a shared responsibility across all levels

Safety is not just a priority—it is a core value embedded in every ASEC activity.
